In my artistic practice I explore the logic and illogic of the systems in which we live. Starting with an interest in biological and psychological systems, such as bodies and minds, I have expanded my artistic focus towards social structures, culture, and their interconnections. My work spans interactive installations, self-built instruments, workshops, and live performances, primarily using open-source software, custom-built electronic systems, and found objects. I understand my performances and installations not as static artifacts but as open processes and systems, responding to their environment, the participants, to myself and often even to themselves. I view art as an experimental field to explore our world, renegotiating the boundaries between subject, object, and our environment.
